Project # 3091 – Directory
Export (North
Winds Excel Output) Directory Sections
Directory Export is located
on the Riata Programs Menu.

When exporting in the North
Winds Excel format, the Excel file has a new column for "Directory
Section". During the export, the
program now tries to find each listing's directory section by using a new User
Edit called ‘ DIRECTORY- SECTION NPANXX’ and based
upon the NPA and NXX
defined in the User Edit.
Setup User Edit:
Field
1 = DIRECTORY-SECTION
Field 2 = NPANXX
(6 digits with No Dashes or Spaces)
Field 3 = Directory Section Name
Field 4 through 8 = Leave Blank
If a matching User Edit is Not found, the NPA and NXX are written in the Directory Section column.
Note: A separate DIRECTORY-SECTION user edit must be
created for each NPA and NXX
that you want to assign a directory section to.
For a listing with long names
that are continued on a subsequent listing with the same number, you can now
have the name merged into one listing.
The merged name can be up to 50 characters long. Any blank spaces are removed from the end of
the name in the first record before adding to the second.
To have a listing's name
continuation automatically merged, enter "9" as the Indent Level of
the continuation listing, as in the example below:
Example:
In the directory file XDIRR2, the following listing has been given a duplicate phone number record in order to extend the name past 40 characters; the duplicate is given an indent level of 9.
|
Phone # |
Indent Level |
Name |
Address |
City |

2084361122 |
0 |
Example
name with over 40 characters |
|
|
|
2084361122 |
9 |
in total. |
|
Rupert |
If the
option "North Winds Merge Names on Indent = 9" is checked, this will
result in the following single listing in the Excel file:
|
Phone # |
Indent Level |
Name |
Address |
City |
|
2084361122 |
0 |
Example
name with over 40 characters in total. |
|
Rupert |
Also, with the "North
Winds Merge on Indent = 9" option checked, listings with multiple lines
and the same phone number will now be exported differently.
In the Excel file, the
listing's Phone Number, Address and City will now appear ONLY on the last line
having the same phone number. The
address and city in the last line are copied from the first non-blank address
or city found; they do not have to be in the first or last line.
Example: With the following listing data in the directory file:
|
Phone # |
Indent Level |
Name |
Address |
City |

2084361122 |

This is based on the Revenue
Belongs to and the Bill Type Codes that come from the Tariff Master.
An example of this could be;
A Cellular Statement you want Roaming, Text Messaging to show in their own Sections
rather than have them all grouped together as Cellular
Charges.
Revenue Belongs to & Bill

Project #3250 – Print Circuit ID#
on Statements
We have
added the option to print Circuit ID# on Statements. This will print in the first section on the Statement for the Special ID Number. The printing of this and what actually prints
is controlled by a New User Edit. This only works if using statement program BSTA6P.
Setup User Edit:
Field
1= BSTA6P-SHOW-CIRCUIT#
Field
2 = Leave Blank
Field 3 = Y
(Key a ‘Y’ if you want to print the Circuit Id# from physical tab in Riata)
Field 4 = Y (Key a
‘Y’ if you want to print Description 1 from Facility Access Service Billing)
Field 5 = Y
(Key a ‘Y’ if you want to print Description
2 from Facility Access Service Billing)
Fields
6 through 8 = Leave Blank

There
are three possible descriptions to print. 1) The Circuit ID # from the Physical
Tab in Riata. 2) Description 1 from Facility Access Service Billing. 3)
Description 2 from Facility Access Service Billing Options 2 & 3 are from CABS menu
#3. You can print any or all of these.
Remember
that you can print any combination of these descriptions. If the description
you are trying to print is blank, no line will print. If printing the descriptions from Facility
Access Service Billing, there has to be a Circuit Id# in the physical tab to
match up to.
